AP Racing wins award at Autosport International
AP Racing on show.
This time last year we started to think about the AP Racing stand, at events like Autosport International, and wondered if there was a better way.
So with a clean sheet of paper, we were able to start again and sketch out a more elegant design, something that promoted conversation – a professional yet friendly approach. Our solution was to just have a handful of products on display, showing the breadth and depth of our skills and innovations so to devote the rest of the space to talking to people, rather than just handing out brochures.
It was easy to place endless rows of brake calipers, master cylinders and clutch plates on display, and let visitors wander past.
It obviously worked, as AP Racing received the best "Trade and Technical" stand award at this year’s Autosport international show. We had already given the concept an airing, at last year’s Professional Motorsport World Expo - albeit in a smaller configuration, but January’s ASI at the NEC was the first time we were able to use the full stand as we’d originally intended. It’s good to see that both the organisers and the attendees were as happy with it as we were:
